I first met Kayla back in November of last year when she was a brand new wee baby, you can view her first session here! Now she is one! (well she will be come tomorrow! ). I was delighted to be asked to photograph beautiful Kayla again and suggested that since it was for her birthday we should have a cake smash! Kayla has more tutus than a tutu shop so we had great fun trying out different looks then of course she got to get a little bit dirty while munching into her cake!

On Sunday I got to meet and photograph beautiful 7 week old baby Alexandra. 7 weeks is generally a little old for a newborn session but under the right conditions it is certainly possible! Alexandra was a dream to work with and has the longest eyelashes ever! She is completely adorable as you can see from the following sneak peek!

Newborns are best photographed under 2 weeks old and sessions are best booked during pregnancy.

Bright and early on Sunday morning I headed down to Broughty Ferry Beach for a family portrait session. We arranged to meet at 8am so there was still a wee nip in the air but lo and behold when I arrive I am greeted by a very keen man going for a wee swim in the Tay!! Very brave it has to be said!! Hehe. Anyway, the session went swimmingly (see what I did there?? hehe) and we got some awesome shots!
