Yesterday evening I got to meet and photograph 3 month old Isla! Oh my goodness, what a cutie pie!! She totally melted my heart with her huge smiles and big blue eyes!

Yesterday evening I got to go visit and photograph little Alfie for a second time! He is now 9 weeks old and as bright as a button and handsome as ever! He has the most expressive little face which I saw to the extreme when he didn’t like a noise I made which usually brings out smiles in babies… His wee chin started quivering and the bottom lip poked out and then the next second the tears started flowing! ooops! First time Ive made a baby cry when trying to get them to smile!! However once we got over that and I made a mental note not to make that silly noise again the session went well!

Yesterday I got to meet and photograph brothers Ryan & James who were accross from Islay to visit family. I feel very honoured that this family took time out of their holidays to have me photograph them! What a couple of cuties! Unfortunatly Ryan was a little grumpy because he had been napping when I arrived so we took a more ‘lifestyle’ approach and got some shots of him chilling on the sofa!
So although the boys really weren’t in the mood I think we managed to get a fair few great shots!

On Sunday morning I got to meet and photograph little Caleb! What a little cutie, with fab hair! He was a little star, slept almost the whole session, only waking up to give me some nice open-eyed shots at the end!

On saturday I got to meet and photograph Sonia and Byron who are expecting twin boys who will arrive in October! It was a lovely session and Im sure you will agree that Sonia looks AMAZING, its hard to believe she is carrying around 2 babies! I think I may be almost as excited as Mum & Dad for these boys to arrive, they will be the first set of newborn twins I will have photographed, the ideas are already buzzing round my head! Here are a few of my favourite photos from the past few weeks!

Today I got to photograph little Robbie! What a handsome little fellow he is! As a newborn photographer I often hear ‘you must have the patience of a saint’…which certainly when Im in photographer mode is very true. Photographing newborns can take a lot of time and patience but Im sure you will agree the results are well worth it. Little Robbie was determined at first that he wasn’t going to sleep but with a little perseverence we managed to get him off to dreamland and capture his adorable squishy, sleepy newness.

I am delighted to announce the birth of my third daughter Bronté! she was born a little past midnight on Tuesday 27th July, 2 days over her due date! I had never made it to my due date with my first two daughters so as you can imagine by the time she arrived I was a little miserable!! She was totally worth it, and thankfully gave me a super short and easy labour and birth!
So here she is, Miss Bronté!!!

Ps. I will begin to schedule sessions starting in september in 1 or 2 weeks once everything is a little more settled but please dont hesitate to email or call me in the meantime if you wish to get more information or schedule a session.

Today I got to meet and photograph little Miss Peyton who is just 6 days old and completly adorable! I am 3 days away from being full term in my own pregnancy, so for a change the session was held in my own home as I have a spare bedroom that I can use as a small studio. This allowed me to try out a few different ideas that would be difficult in someone elses home as I often dont know the size of space I have to work in etc.
Anyway, I LOVED the results of the shots on the oak flooring! Here is a few from the session!
